The fourth season of the international festival of team geographical intellectual games "GeFest" successfully ended on November 13. 800 college and high school students took part in the competitions, which took place in 18 cities of Russia and other countries of the world. The absolute winner of the competitions, which are held with the support of the Russian Geographical Society, was Dream Team from Nizhny Novgorod.
The festival “GeFest” is held simultaneously in several cities in spring and autumn. The organizer of the exciting competitions is the Youth Club of the RGS "MSU".
In 2024, the intellectual games were held in Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Lugansk, Magadan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Perm, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Tyumen, Cheboksary, Yakutsk, as well as in Astana, Minsk, and Lausanne.
“I am glad that new territories are joining the festival! Thanks to everyone who helped organize the largest festival of team geographical intellectual games! There is going to be more in the future,” the author of the project Mikhail Perestoronin commented on the results of "GeFest".

According to the results of the competition, a team called Dream Team from Minin University was recognized as the winner not only at the regional venue but also in the overall standings. They scored 233 points out of 250 possible.
