The regional conference of the international geographical Union IGU-2018 will be held in Quebec (Canada) from 6 to 10 August. In order to support Russian young specialists, the Russian Geographical Society will pay part of the expenses required to take part in the event.
Conference participants under the age of 35 years (inclusive) may refund part of the expenses. Those interested in a refund should contact employees of the Russian Geographical Society Executive Directorate working at the exhibition stand of the Society (No. 9), and provide them with copies of documents confirming the payment of the registration fee and participation in the conference with a verbal report.
Based on a competitive selection, the Russian Geographical Society will choose the winners. The amount of the refund will be determined by the Society. The Russian Geographical Society will give no explanations about the reasons behind its decision as a result of reviews of applications.
