Voting has started on the Crystal Compass Award website in the «Public Recognition» category. You can support your favorite project once a day until October 31, inclusive.

In 2026, more than 500 projects and achievements from 29 countries were nominated for the award. Applications that have passed the qualification selection participate in the public vote.

The Crystal Compass Award has been presented since 2012 under the auspices of the RGS for achievements in the field of geography, ecology and related sciences, the preservation of natural and historical-cultural heritage, technological developments, and contributions to the development of society.

The winners in 10 categories, including «Scientific Achievement, ” «Travel and Expedition, ” «Education, ” «Photography», and «Best Regional Project, ” will be determined by an expert council.

«The geography of the Crystal Compass Award continues to expand. We are glad that this year the community of its participants has grown to include authors from 12 new countries around the world. This speaks to the relevance of the award’s idea and the growing international significance, » said Ivan Chaika, chairman of the organizing committee of the national award.

Over the past 14 years, nearly 5,500 creative teams from 63 countries have been nominated for the Crystal Compass Award. Nearly 1.2 million people took part in the voting for the award winners in the «Public Recognition» category.
