Zaporozhye branch

November 17, 2023 is a landmark date for the Zaporozhye region, as the founding General Meeting of the Zaporozhye regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society took place on this day.

The department was headed by Andrey Nikolaevich Boyka, Deputy Minister for Sports of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Zaporozhye region.

The founders of the department were representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Youth Policy, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Civil-Military Administration of the Zaporozhye region.

The initiative of the founders was formalized by the protocol and approved by the Governing Council of the Russian Geographical Society.
