The 10th Russia-China Expo is coming to an end in Harbin. There the RGS introduced its work in the field of preserving historical and cultural heritage to an international audience.
Since 2014, the international exhibition has become a large-scale platform for dialogue between the two countries. The total exhibition area of the Expo in 2026 was 12,000 square meters, of which the area of the Russian exhibition was 4,500 square meters.
The RGS exhibition attracted the attention of the forum’s guests, including representatives of major Chinese companies and regional administrations. Visitors to the stand made interactive VR trips around Russia, in particular, they took a virtual tour of the Volga River. In cooperation with the Moscow government, the RGS organized thematic exhibitions for the public «About You, Moscow…» and «Faces of Russia: Unity in Diversity». The works are also presented at the Harbin Concert Hall. Their opening, as well as the concert of the «Lyubo-Milo» performance group, is timed to coincide with «Moscow Days» in Harbin.
An important outcome of the business program is the establishment of direct contacts with the State Archives of Heilongjiang Province. The parties discussed the prospects for academic cooperation, as well as the possibility of exchanging materials and holding joint historical exhibitions. In addition, during meetings with representatives of Chinese business and government authorities, plans for further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects were outlined.
