Council of Elders
The Council of Elders of the RGS acts to preserve the traditions and heritage of the Society, the continuity of the generations of the RGS. The Council is headed by the Chairman: Honorary President of the Society. The competence of the Council of Elders of the Society includes: the development of proposals on the main activities of the RGS in the development of geography and related fields of knowledge; resolution of disputes between members and structural divisions of the Society; sending proposals on the publication of scientific, pedagogical, and other works in the publications of the Society, and others.
