On April 16, the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Center in Paris hosted the opening ceremony of an exhibition organized with the participation of the Russian Geographical Society. For the first time outside our country, the exhibition presents the works of the finalists of the photo contest "Lighthouses of Russia 2020".

An important place in the exhibition is occupied by "portraits" of lighthouses in remote parts of Russia. The northernmost of them is the tower lighthouse on Vostochny Island in the Vilkitsky Strait between Taimyr and Severnaya Zemlya. Guests of the exhibition can also see the Aniva Lighthouse in the remote southern part of Sakhalin Island and Irbensky Lighthouse, one of the last floating lighthouses in the world.
