From May 26 to June 1, 2025, more than 400 events of the «Geography Not-Lesson» project of the Russian Geographical Society were held in 70 regions of Russia as well as in three foreign countries. The All-Russian educational initiative has brought together thousands of people of different ages who are interested in natural sciences, nature, and travel. Schoolchildren, students, teachers, and families with children from Karelia to Crimea, from Moscow to Altai explored their native land, met with scientists, climbed mountains, looked at the starry sky, got acquainted with modern research and ancient artifacts, and gained new knowledge in an exciting format.
The main event of the spring «Geography Not-Lesson» took place at the museum-reserve «Tsaritsyno» in Moscow. It gathered more than 5,000 guests, for whom an exciting program was prepared. Also, more than 2,600 people visited the venue in the Moscow Region at the Primakov School Book Fest.
