In the village of Kraskino of the Hasan district (Primorski Krai) the VI International motorcycle rally "Russia 10x10" for the MAD RIDER title successfully completed. The motorcycle rallying dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the events on Khasan Lake was held with the information support from the Russian Geographical Society.
Eight of the nine people started on July 22 from the Russian Geographical Society Headquarters in Saint Petersburg covered about 10,200 kilometers and on August 1 reached at the end point of the route. One participant went off the track for health reasons
Motorcycle travelers from Riga, Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg and Moscow followed the route: Saint Petersburg – Omutninsk – Tyumen – Kemerovo – Irkutsk – Chita – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok – Khasan Lake. The participants were equipped with GPS/GLONASS beacons thus anyone could follow their movement on the special website.
The first day on the legendary land began with a meeting with pupils of the Posyet school. The guys were looking forward to meet the rally participants and met them, following the Russian tradition, with bread and salt, gifts, a small concert dedicated to their village.

After the meeting at the school, motor-travelers visited the room of military glory in the village of Posyet, laid flowers at the graves of the heroes who died in the battles at Khasan Lake in 1938 and unfolded the flag of the Russian Geographical Society in memory of the events that took place 80 years ago.

On August 2, the participants visited the village of Khasan, where there had been fierce battles for preserving the integrity of our borders.
