Department in the Republic of Ingushetia

The branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Ingushetia is one of the youngest, it was established in November 2013.

Much attention is being paid to the development of a tourism cluster in the North Caucasus, work is underway to develop domestic children's tourism and develop interregional cooperation.

Special emphasis is placed on the patriotic education of young people, the involvement of boys and girls in the study of their native land, traditions and way of life of the indigenous people.

Thanks to the pilot project "School Museum of Local Lore", a museum was organized at secondary school No. 2, which was replenished with exhibits, including those brought by schoolchildren from an excursion to the Dzheyrakh-Assinovsky Reserve of mountainous Ingushetia.
