Kherson branch

November 17, 2023 is a landmark date for the Kherson region, as the founding General Meeting of the Kherson regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society took place on this day.

The Kherson regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society was headed by Vladimir Maleev, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Kherson State Pedagogical University". The department also includes the Chairman of the Kherson Regional Duma Tatyana Tomilina, Acting director of the Institute of Livestock Breeding of Steppe Regions named after N.F.Ivanov "Askania-Nova", the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and representatives of the Kherson State Pedagogical University.

The initiative of the founders was formalized by the protocol and approved by the Governing Council of the Russian Geographical Society.
