Kemerovo Regional Office

The Kemerovo Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society was established in 2008 on the basis of Kemerovo State University.

Teachers and employees of universities of the Kemerovo region and academic research institutes, young scientists, students, cultural and artistic figures take part in its work.

The department is striving to expand the circle of its partners, currently it receives a large number of applications from various public organizations, volunteer groups engaged in tourism, educational activities, and youth work. Cooperation agreements and partnership agreements are being prepared with the scout organization "Orthodox Pathfinders", Novokuznetsk extreme travel clubs "Mustag" and Tentura, with travel companies in the region.
