Samara Regional Branch

The Samara branch was registered as a legal entity in May 2016. During this time, more than two hundred people have become its members. In 2018, the Executive Directorate was established. 4 local branches have been opened: Klyavlinskoye, Chelno-Vershinskoye, Pokhvistnevskoye, Tolyattiskoye, the geography is constantly expanding.

Every year, the Samara branch participates in all-Russian actions: "Geographical Dictation", the photo contest "The most beautiful country", "Memorial plaques of the Russian Geographical Society", "The Best Guide of Russia", "Geography Night", "Tram of the Russian Geographical Society" and others.

We are actively creating our own projects. Together with the Samara Newsreel Studio, the production of the educational newsreel "Chronicle of the Russian Geographical Society" is being implemented – a series of films dedicated to significant dates, people and geographical events. The concept of the School of Tourism has been developed to involve the younger generation in active activities.
